Eastern Glades in Houston

The Eastern Glades at Memorial Park in Houston is a recent development that’s a part of the park’s ten year “Master Plan,” which will bring much needed improvements to Houston’s largest park.

The centerpiece of the Eastern Glades development is the man-made Hines Lake, which provides a serene, and relaxing, location. The lake is surrounded by plenty of native plants, as well as a walking trail for visitors.

Here are photos I captured while visiting the Eastern Glades when it first opened in 2020.
